Doctor Brian Benedict, a well-known Fishers Orthodontist at 116th Street and Olio Road, wanted to remodel his existing office to give it a new look and feel. (This also happens to be the same “Good Doctor” that the Kort children get their orthodontia done.)

We approached Dr. Benedict and offered to assist him with the architecture/design and budgeting of his project from start to finish. Together with April McClurg of AM Design, we changed the reception area layout and look while also changing the design of the office and exam areas.

Our biggest challenge was completing this project without closing down the office for an extended period of time. We were able to preorder all materials, guaranteeing they were in hand before starting the onsite work. We also built all the millwork prior to the start of the project so it could be set in place immediately. The office closed for the two-week winter break at the end of 2014 and Phase 1 was put into action. Phase 1 included the rework of the front reception area and the new finishes in the remainder of the space. Phase 2, completing the exam rooms and common area, began during spring break 2015. A very tight schedule was held and another successful project was completed on time and within budget.
