As Founder & Co-Owner of Kort Builders, Bob is responsible for the oversight of all company management, including new business development, sales, client relations, business planning and the development of all Negotiated & Design/Build projects. He is personally involved in working with prospective owners in order to get their projects to the construction phase in the most expedient manner.

Steve’s area of responsibility encompasses all administrative and financial matters at Kort Builders, Inc., including funds management, insurance coverages, surety and bonding, banking relationships, legal and accounting relationships, financial budgeting and planning, and regulatory and tax compliance.

Mike’s area of responsibility at Kort Builders, Inc. is to provide oversight and leadership in the pursuit, preparation and management of our construction projects. While directing our construction procedures, Mike’s responsibilities include estimating, budgeting, scheduling, quality control, design management and maintaining client relations through close interaction from a project’s inception, delivery and post construction needs.

Tyler is responsible for overseeing the entire project from beginning to the end, including but not limited to; budget, schedule, project procurement and overseeing the project. Tyler has worked on projects ranging from $100 – $100 million. Tyler believes in streamlining successful completion of projects under budget and ahead of schedules with safety as a priority.

Amanda helps strengthen and grow new and established relationships with clients, subcontractors and design teams. She is involved through the entire process – at the start bidding opportunities, establishing budgets & schedules, and managing the construction and timely completion of each unique space with assistance of field supervision.

Her projects include office, warehouse, retail restaurant, fitness studios and other commercial spaces from small to multimillion-dollar renovations.

Perform overall estimating services including: order of magnitude, feasibility and conceptual budgets; negotiated estimates and proposals; hard-bid estimates and proposals; design-build process including all phases of estimates/pricing and coordination with designers, architects, engineers and end-user.

Daniel Sutton

Daniel runs quantity take-offs and creates scopes of work to build estimates and budgets for clients. As a full-blown project manager, Daniel coordinates all parts of the construction process. He works with architects, vendors, engineers, and others to ensure project requirements and standards are met.

Tony brings Kort Builders over 22-years of construction management experience with valuable industry insight. He has managed a range of project sizes, from tenant finish renovations to ground-up buildings valued over $50 million, in a variety of markets, including: office, hospitality, multi-family, medical and warehouse.

At Kort, Tony utilizes his understanding of the construction industry to develop new and strengthen existing client relationships. He emphasizes the importance of creating a cohesive project team, pulling together the client’s expectations with the subcontractors & design teams, to ensure close attention to detail and prompt solutions from start to a successful finish.

Lance Stephenson

Lance’s passion for building and design began while working for his uncle’s construction company in high school. After high school, Lance graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management (BCM) and an Associate Degree in Architectural Technology.

Lance owned his own Residential construction company for 10 years before moving to the commercial sector. With 30 years of construction experience under his belt, Lance is experienced in a multitude of project styles. From ground-up retail centers and restaurants to tenant finishes and remodels, Lance utilizes his experience to handle the details of his projects from start to finish.
